The deviation of the normal vectors at a given object point is calculated. If this deviation exceeds a predefined tolerance, the corresponding object point at that pixel position in the normal map is classified as not acceptable (red dashed line). If the deviation is within the tolerance, the pixel position is considered acceptable (green dashed line).
