Manufacturing Review Impact Factor and CiteScore signal strong progress

Manufacturing Review is pleased to report a 53% rise in its Impact Factor, which now stands at 1.9 in the 2024 Journal Citation Reports™. The journal’s CiteScore has also increased by 3.6% to 5.7 (ESCI), confirming its value as a forum for high-quality research in modern manufacturing, industrial engineering, and process innovation. The editorial board thanks authors, reviewers, and readers for their continued support, and welcomes new submissions on emerging manufacturing technologies.

While these gains are encouraging, we recognise that citation metrics capture only part of a journal’s influence. Lasting scientific value is also reflected in real-world applications, collaboration, and the advancement of knowledge, considerations that guide our editorial approach.
